St. Bernard Dental Services serves Chicago’s South Side Englewood neighborhood with much-needed oral health care. The hospital has created a state-of-the-art facility with five operatories and the most modern oral health care equipment.

EXAMS AND CONSULTATION
Our Dental Center provides comprehensive exams that promote preventative maintenance of your teeth. Don’t let plaque and decay get in the way of a healthy, happy smile!

TEETH CLEANING
A regularly scheduled annual cleaning keeps your teeth bright and free of troublesome plaque. The cleaning also identifies oral health problems like gum disease.

SEALANTS AND FILLINGS
We’ll catch up to your oral health needs by comfortably administering the most modern tooth sealants and fillings.

ROOT CANAL AND CROWN
Today’s root canal procedures are far more comfortable than the old days! We’ll take care of your tooth and crown with a complete procedure to correct the damage and restore your tooth.

dental_xray Among the state-of-the-art equipment at the Dental Center, we feature a panoramic x-ray machine. The advantages of panoramic radiography include significant reduction of x-ray dosage to patients, fewer repetitions, electronic storage and transfer of images, and a chemical-free process.

dental_lab Adjacent to the operatories, an on-site dental laboratory allows staff to perform more detailed tasks such as denture repairs and space maintainers. This facility expedites procedures, resulting in fewer return visits for patients receiving care in our Dental Center.

dental_operatories Our modern operatories are outfitted by a network of online computer imaging, accessible throughout the facility. This gives our dentists immediate access to patient history, new and previous x-rays, and the most up to date clinical software applications.

Dr. Vipul Singhal, DMD is the Director of Dental Services at St. Bernard Hospital in Chicago, responsible for the start-up and development of the hospital’s first dental clinic serving the city’s most underserved community. An adjunct faculty member with the College of Dentistry at University of Illinois-Chicago, Dr. Singhal is a published researcher on Periodontal Health, a Safdarjang Hospital Resident’s Award recipient, and a 2007 “Healthy Smiles Hero” honoree as presented by the Lieutenant Governor of Illinois.
