GALA EVENT RETURNS AUGUST 21

St. Bernard Hospital’s annual fundraising gala, “The Red Carpet,” returns on Saturday night, August 21 at Hyatt McCormick Place. This year’s theme, Supper Club, will feature big band performance and an energetic live auction as the highlights of the evening.

Our annual awards - The Father Bernard Murray “Good for Englewood” Award, and the Seven Sisters Award for outstanding staff achievement - will also be presented on August 21. Recipients will be announced in June.

Appearing at the event will be members of the Alan Gresik Swing Shift Orchestra, performing standard supper club favorites as they would at Chicago’s historic Green Mill Jazz Club, where they perform as part of a 15-piece ensemble every Thursday night.

DJ Oskar returns for a second year when “Club Rouge,” the official afterparty of the Red Carpet, begins at 10pm.

The Red Carpet will be held for the third year at Hyatt McCormick Place, and includes the standard silent auction. A highlight of the evening is the special live auction, featuring signature items that will be announced at the start of the August 21 festivities.
