2026 Community FitFest Recap

On Saturday, June 6, St. Bernard Hospital welcomed local residents and families to the third Community FitFest, a free, family-friendly celebration of health, wellness, and community at 6307 S. Stewart Ave.

Attendees spent the day moving, playing, and connecting through activities and resources designed for all ages. From the Health Hub and Kids Zone to the Senior Pavilion, the event offered something for everyone.

Families enjoyed bouncy houses, interactive games, wellness resources, and free health services, including back-to-school youth physicals, dental screenings, and blood pressure checks. Community organizations and healthcare professionals were also onsite to provide education, support, and connections to services that promote healthier lifestyles.

The Community FitFest brought together residents, partners, and healthcare providers for a day focused on wellness, prevention, and celebrating the strength of the community.
